What You’ll Do
Begin in Oaxaca City with a professionally applied Catrina or Catrín look, then regroup for private transport into the countryside as daylight fades. Walk among illuminated cempasúchil fields and take part in a dedicated portrait session with a professional photographer. A traditional festival meal and non-alcoholic drink are included, creating time to enjoy the setting beyond the photos themselves.
Why We Recommend It
This is one of the strongest visual experiences in the set because the makeup, transport, night-time flower setting and photographer are bundled into one evening. It is a good choice for travellers who want memorable portraits but still want the marigold symbolism and local setting explained rather than treating the fields as a backdrop only.
Booking Details
Fixed annual departure, listed for 28 October. Punctuality is important because makeup is scheduled by time slot. Professional images are delivered digitally after editing, normally around 3–4 weeks.
